Content Producer, KidsKnowBest

February 2019 - Present

I am currently working for the UK’s fastest growing kids media agency as a Content Producer. As a start up, I am helping build a strong foundation with a team of ten. My role is very versatile, so I’m always learning something new. In my role, I have an excellent understanding of all multimedia content production, I manage all social media, I produce, optimise and design content across digital and video formats, expand visibility of the brand online as well as during sale pitch meetings, represent and advise a variety of talent and influencers and generally help build and develop organisational developments.

At KidsKnowBest, we give kids a voice. I pride myself in working towards my dream of helping people with a lack of platforms to be noticed, recognised. I truly believe everyone should have a voice, should be noticed, should be able to share their story if willing, and everything I produce should be fun, fulfilling, captivating and on trend. I produce, work that gets noticed, that gets the "wow, I wish I thought of that" reaction.

Volunteer, KEEN

October 2018 - Present

I volunteer at a charity called KEEN, a non-profit-making organisation providing one-to-one support and activity sessions for children with additional needs or disabilities.

We provide free weekly sessions so no child has to miss out on the fun of physical activity with friends, and sometimes their siblings if they want to join in. Volunteers are Coaches, and the children are the Athletes. Everyone gets paired up for a couple of hours of games, meaning the children can get the support they need in a safe, fun place.

Volunteering is something I have taken on to help those who are less fortunate than myself. I want to bring happiness to those who sometimes struggle. It has also encouraged me to learn how to work with different types of different people in different environments, encouraging equality.

Content Manager, Autotrip

July 2018 - February 2019

Autotrip is a sustainable startup in the heart of London, where I create and produce all content to inform customers and draw new ones in. I am responsible for raising brand awareness through our website and blog. Having re-launched in September 2018, I have been responsible for: creating all our new website’s content, optimising old blog posts as well as creating new ones, developing an editorial calendar and a content strategy, manage all our social media platforms, manage photoshoots and filming productions, as well as open all platforms of communication with other businesses through our media platforms.

Manager, Hollister Co.

June 2017 - July 2018

I have developed skills in operating a multimillion company, recruiting, managing 60+ associates and overseeing their training and making sure it represents company policies, scheduling, managing registers, providing leadership to colleagues and associates, interviews and maintaining a calm presence whilst running the business effectively and efficiently

My people skills are strong, as I interact with an abundance of people every day. I maintain a professional relationship with Store, District and Regional management.

I do this all whilst creating an ambience in store that promotes diversity and inclusion, which is a passion of mine.

For three years beforehand, I worked as a Brand Representative for the Company. I was promoting Hollister clothing, diversity and inclusion altogether with skills including communication, interpersonal interaction, multi-tasking, passion and a strong work ethic. I have to provide customer service and maintain presentation standards on the shop floor. I have learned about asset protection, how to work with money, how to work in a team with inspiring individuals whilst under pressure, as well as how to think proactively and learn about a multimillion dollar company.

Editing Intern, Custom Media

June 2016 - August 2016

I was fortunate enough to gain work experience at Custom Media, in Tokyo, Japan. Custom Media is an award winning bilingual content creation and communications company. They enjoy a respectable reputation for two monthly magazines and providing marketing and advertising to firms entering or expanding in Japan. The magazines are titled Acumen and The Journal and I had the joy and privilege of writing pieces for both, as well as the Custom Media blog. Targeting individuals of the British and American chambers of commerce, I was unfamiliar writing for such an audience. However I discovered the challenge of writing for a new audience can help a budding journalist shift out of their comfort zone to blossom and trigger knowledge, memories and interests.

My month at Custom Media had me: Writing, editing, transcribing, interviewing, fact checking and gathering, investigating, presenting to my peers and travelling.

PR and Crowdfunder, Palestine Film Festival

September 2015 - January 2016

In a group of passionate storytellers, we produced a film festival in Bristol to showcase a mixture of shorts and feature length films that provide a unique insight into life in Palestine, through the stories of people that live there. In today’s current climate, finding a voice is more important than ever before. In it's sixth year, it's getting bigger - and I contributed my time as a student to crowd-fund over £1,000 for the event.

I have worked within teams and independently to creatively communicate to a wide range of audiences to real life deadlines.
